Supportive Maintenance Therapy
Supportive Maintenance Therapy

SUPPORTIVE MAINTENANCE THERAPY

Supportive maintenance usually comes after a periodontal treatment so, you will likely need a supportive maintenance therapy at about eight weeks after your periodontal treatment. This is usually the right time to check the depth of the pockets around your teeth and clean your mouth to remove lingering bacteria, plaque, stains, and tartar.

During your supportive maintenance therapy, your dentist will go over your teeth maintenance plan with you and how best to follow your maintenance regime. If you do not adhere to your treatment plan, you may likely repeat the treatment.

Finally, your dentist will assess your general oral health, and if there is any other serious issue, your dentist will address it and refer you to a specialist if necessary.

To keep your teeth healthy after your periodontal treatment, visit Dental Hygienist London at Flat 1, 70 Great Russell St. Holborn, London WCIB 3BN or contact us on 020 31375055 to book an appointment with us.
